My story
After 32 years in nursing —culminating with a doctoral degree, accented with Master’s degrees in both Counseling and Nursing, 15 years as a faculty member, and a degree in Culinary Arts — I realized it was time for a positive change for me, too. My passion shifted toward wellness: helping women not just survive, but truly thrive. I wanted to surround myself with motivated women who were ready to take charge of their health, embrace empowerment, and build the confidence that comes from lasting change.

In my 50's , I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer — a milestone that reflects my lifelong commitment to wellness. I can honestly say I love the way I look, but this didn’t just happen, and I definitely don’t have a naturally fast metabolism. What I do have is a love for moving my body and the determination to set goals and reach them. For over a decade I’ve been an active CrossFit participant, I’ve competed in both Olympic and sprint triathlons, and I’ve even finished a marathon (even though I hate running!). Fitness for me isn’t about perfection — it’s about persistence, joy, and the incredible confidence that comes from knowing how good it feels to simply feel good.
